I attended the Canadian Cardigan specialty this past weekend. It was held in conjunction with one of the biggest shows in Alberta and I was kept very busy running from ring to ring.
There were nearly 20 Cardigans entered in conformation- which is a pretty large entry as far as Cardis go. There were ten in Rally, five in Obedience and three in Agility.
I had Pixel and Wicca entered in Agility and Rally. I also had Pixel entered in Obedience but pulled her due to the fact that I had conflicts with the agility ring, and she just isn't quite ready.
Anyway, the girls had a great weekend and I am very proud of them.
Wicca finished three titles- her Rally Excellence, her Novice Agility, and a Scenthurdle title (don't know what one yet).
Pixel was the star though- she not only finished two agility titles, but she came away High Cardigan in Trial in both Agility and Rally. She earned the high in trial cardigan with a 99/100 in Rally, and qualified in 7/7 Agility runs. She is such an honest little dog- she does whatever I ask of her. She will get her name on two big trophies, and came home with loads of ribbons and prizes. I am very proud of her. She is still so young, with so much to learn. It just amazes me that she did so well.
I will have her official photo hopefully later today to share with you all.
Thanks for letting me brag!
