This morning Dylan has a Vet appt. He is still lifting his surgry leg from the hip. Something new he started about a month ago. Nothing wrong with his knee though. He will soon be 10 and i'm now worrying that it is arthritis, or another hip problem.

Then twice in the last week he had soft stool, mucus and bright red in it. Day before yesterday his stool was the usual firmness, but was stinged/coated with a thin layer of what looked like dark red.

Panic.

That full year (almost to the day) that he had the Sammonella was so scary. I am always afraid that it will rear it's ugly gead again.

This morning his stool was normal, so that's a good sign, so I'm just concerened about hip hip now.

Vibes for my boy's Vet visit would be much appreciated.

My Dyl Bob is fine!:SMILE:

His stool issues - our Vet feels that is was sporatic, and no visable symtoms or ill effects that it was just an irritation. Maybe something that he picked up off the grass in a park etc. So all is well on that fronts.

His hip - might be a wee bit of arthritis, or a calciun chip. But likey more or a soft tissue ache. We all still feel that he has conditioned himself to move his body very differntly after such a long recovery period after his surgery. I mentioned that the equine message therapist said his ham string on that leg was very tight the last time he came to the house & worked on him.

Thank you everyone for your good vibes, thoughts & prayers for me little guy. C2bC Vibes work!!+WHOHO+

He is also maintaining his weight, 27.3lb,had his heart checked, & got his nails clipped during the 30 minute exam with the Vet. Our bill was $16.50. We have the best Vets, Techs & Animal Hospital around. We are very, very lucky.:)

And, he is clear to go back to regular training, & classes if I want, as long as we take it slowly and he doesn't over do. We are both happy about that!

Emilie, that is about the cost of a regular visit for us here. But, his knee/leg seems to have a lifetime warranty on it after the surgery. Really, for some months after he was having Dylan come in weekly, at N/C. And his tummy/stool consult, well he just didn't charge us for that today. It seems like every once in a while that happens.

The $16.50 was the flat charge for nail trimming. As we all sknow dogs wear down their nails differently. A while back, Montose only needed her back nails done, and Dylan only his front. He only charged us 16.50. He said it was only 1/2 dog for each trim.:TWITCHY:

:EEK: don't know how I missed this yesterday... Glad to hear Dylan is Good to Go and his stiffness may only be muscle ache. Poor boy has had a time of it. {{extra vibes 2day}}

Yep, my little elf is back to his ol' self.:D

We had occassion to be in the area of our training facility today and stopped in, Dylan was very happy to be there, if only for a short visit. (Me too!) We maybe back to taking classes very soon. More word that they have had more inquiries to start teaching Rally-O!+WHOHO+
