I'm very excited, because I learned at our club meeting today that we are offering a working dog sweepstakes at our specialty this year. This is for Corgis who have at least 2 performance titles in agility, herding, tracking, obedience or rally. They need to still meet the standard because they are judged on conformation, but spayed and neutered dogs can enter. It's a sweepstakes, so the winner doesn't go on to best of breed. There will also be a herding titled class for dogs who have herding titles (must be intact) and that class does qualify to move on to best of breed. I love that performance dogs are being recognized!
