I hope this isn't getting old for everyone but just had to share a note from Joey's new Mom:

Thanks so much for thinking of us. I was actually thinking of you today and how grateful I am that I found you and Joey.

We have settled into a routine and I think he is starting to feel like this is his permanent home. On walks now, to his favorite two natural areas, I let him off the leash. In the beginning, he just walked, did not sniff at all. Now he is sniffing like crazy, loving being outside, not wanting to get back in the car.

He is such a love bug. He is just so good and so easy to have around. I am just loving him. He sits in my big chair next to me at night when I am watching tv. He started lying on his back on his bed near my feet so I think that is a good trusting sign.

I think if he could talk he would say he was happy here. I could NOT be happier with him! He is just perfect for me. (He might just say he wants more food and treats) He is getting lots of walks and lots of love and pets.

Sounds like he is doing just great!

It will never get old hearing about Joey!

So good that you heard from Kathy, it sounds like the two of them have a perfect set-up and that they are very happy together! +WUBCLUB+

AWWWWW! It so great to hear how Joey is doing. I hope his new mom joins this community someday so we can see some pictures and hear more delightful Joey stories.

I am a sucker for a happy beginning!

Hearing about Joey will never get old for me! It's nice that he is settling into his new home! You should be very proud of yourself and the great job you did!

That is fabulous news Susan! Thanks for sharing!!! And I think it would be great if Kathy could join the forum so we could get regular Joey updates and (of course!) pictures of him!
