That's super Debbie!! What's his call name? I'm going to guess it's "Bear".
Okay, I'm going to ask on behalf of myself and all those who don't understand this. What kind of showing is this - I assume confirmation? What do all of the points mean? This list has dogs from 10 points to 152. Are these dogs all Cardigan Corgis?

Close on his call name, it's Bruin. He's Mac's black & white "surrogate brother" back in their wee puppy days.
These are conformation rankings and this list is all Cardigans. The points from 10 to 152 are the number of dogs defeated based on Best of Breed wins. Bruin (or my Bru-bear <G>) has had one BOB win which landed him in the rankings. It's a bit of hoot really. Right now we're just showing him to get his championship which, fingers crossed, will happen in early March at supported entries in Franklin, TN. (A supported entry is when a breed club, in this case the CWCCA, offers special prizes, there is usually a breeder judge who will bring in more entries and competition can be pretty heavy.) He needs one point to finish his championship. If by chance he picks up some BOB's out there, he'll likely go up in the rankings. After he finishes, then he'll stay home for a while and grow up (he'll just be a year old in March) and then we might bring him and out and special him some, which means he would only be shown in the Best of Breed class. (I'd really like to do some herding with him too.) Depending on how he grows up, he might even be campaigned some. Campaigning is when one shows a special weekend after weekend, gets lots of Best of Breeds and hopefully Group placements. With Group placements comes another type of ranking and on to Best In Show. :BIGGRIN" The dogs at the top of the list with the 152 points for example are specials being campaigned. The #1 spot was at Westminister and got an Award of Merit there, the one in second place was BOB at Westminister.
It's really a kick to find his name there.

Well, as Bruin is another name for a brown bear - that makes total sense!
Thank you for the explanation and wow, that really is quite an accomplishment at his tender age - congrats to both of you. You deserve to be a very proud Mom!! +TUP+

Thanks for letting me gush! :CUTE:
The name theme came from their sire, CH Faeriesteed Snoshu MrBluBear and Bruin always looked like little black bear. His blue brother BJ (Ch Faeriesteed BJ and the Bear), well BJ was the spitting image of their sire - nicknamed Bear Jr, early on. Heather met him when she got Mac. (Mac, well he couldn't be anything but just Mac <VBG>). BJ finished really quickly just before he was eight months old and the day he finished was Bruin's first time showing; Bruin went reserve winners dog to his brother; both of them in the Bred by Exhibitor class which was really cool.
Another thing on his name, well the influences of a breeder friend came into play too. She always imagines how a name would sound if it is being called out by the announcer at Westminister. I asked for input on the Showdogs list and a Pem breeder internet friend from Canada sent me some suggestions using the subject line "Bear in mind." That wasn't even one of her name suggestions, but I thought it was just perfect. I wanted judges to "remember" him/bear him in mind when it came time to point to the winners. <G>
My Berry is their half sister and with that litter the bear theme was used too, her registered name is Faeriesteed's Bear Footn'. She's been shown limited and I brought her out when she was in the 12 -18 month class - bad time to start a show career. <LOL> They get lanky and tubey, very awkward. Now that she's grown up some, she'll be coming back out later this year. Berry is in the Polar Bear Picnic video. When they do a pan of all the dogs in the line from right to left, her little fuzzy face pops out - black with tan mottling/brindling on her cheeks.
